Wine Inspired Fall Wedding Ideas

With a new venue in town, Lauren of Lauren Ashley Photography knew she had to get in there and capture the amazing textures and lighting the Ritual had to offer. Teaming up with a bunch of creative vendors, this Wine Inspired Fall wedding shoot was created.

About the Wine Inspired Fall Wedding Shoot

“When dreaming of this session it was the dead of summer in Texas. We were desperately waiting fall, and cooler temps, so we thought we would make Fall happen in August. Our main inspiration was wine glasses with wine actually in them. A lot of times when you see a set table the glasses are all empty awaiting guest, but we thought they looked much more enticing with red wine in them.” – Lauren Ashley Photography

We have to agree, there is something a tad too sexy about a man in a burgundy suit! It’s not the traditional black, it’s not the trendy navy or grey, it’s different and unexpected. This look paired so well with the wedding dress which was a lacey beauty with a back detailing of buttons.

For the flowers, it was all about being full and luscious! Not only did the team line the farmhouse table with a green, beautiful garland, Ashlee with La Bella Blooms inserted the largest roses, dahlias, and succulents ever seen.

The team decided to keep the cake relatively simple. The sweet buttons on the cake mimic the back of the dress! With the addition of fresh flowers and fresh berries, it fit perfectly into the dream of the shoot.

For the tablescape, the china chosen is simple. The team didn’t want to go overboard with design on the china and have it distract. The solid white china with a gold border is the perfect backdrop for the larger than life succulents and tile name plate. The burgundy napkins add that pop of color.
