Wedding Inspiration From Golden Globes 2014

Were you looking and hoping for some Wedding Inspiration From Golden Globes 2014? How did your expectation go? I’d just go ahead and tell you I was pretty disappointed with what I saw. I never watch these awards, I’d confess; I secretly just look at the red carpet for fashion inspiration and of lately, wedding inspiration. But this time around, it was kind of Bleh!

There were pretty nice looks but not wedding-ny enough for me. Maybe you’d feel different so take a look.

The Big and Bold: These may be my fave categories but of course I’d change some few things like the color and add some pretty binged up sashes like those of Something treasure I featured on the blog last week. I still don’t know how I feel about Giuliana’s dress though…something seems off but I don’t think it’s the dress.

The Gold and Off Whites: These looks are sleek, elegant and if you ask me perfect for a Bride’s engagement or rehearsal dinner. I don’t know why but I am absolutely in love with the whole of Rocsi, maybe because it’s just Rocsi *remembers years ago when I used to watch 106 & Park, my God, she is all grown up!*

The Metallics: One word, okay make that two: Kate Beckinsale!!! Okay make that a few more words; I love the metallic look and it totally reminds me of this wedding look of metallics for guests we had on here a while ago. I seriously can’t wait to start seeing metallic bridal dresses!

The Black and Whites: *sigh* Jennifer Lawrence dress really had potential! If only they had sent it to me first before letting her walk the red carpet with that. What’s with those black linings on the dress? Wasn’t one enough? Honestly of all of these I’d have to go with Laura (the middle look) for anything wedding related, may be a rehearsal dinner or an intimate court ceremony?

So what do you think? Can you rock any of these on the aisle to say “I do”? Would you change a few things?

I’d love to hear!
