The bride chose a vintage romance theme, inspired by Marie Antoinette and Versailles (their reception was even called the Versailles room), with glittering crystals and lush florals.
More about the Vintage Glamour Wedding
“Sticking with the vintage Parisian theme I gave all of my bridesmaids Eiffel Tower champagne glasses and macaroon shaped lip balm. For my something old I wore my moms skull cap wedding veil from the the 70s, it was stunning and still in great shape! My bouquet also had vintage pins all in it, including one from each of my grandmothers as something borrowed. One of the pins had blue in it.
My bridesmaids wore Blush colored vintage looking gowns from BHLN while the groomsmen wore light grey tuxedos with blush pink bow ties and gold buttons to accent from Men’s Wearhouse.
My favorite part of our wedding shoot was at a family friends estate on the Delaware river. We got some beautiful photos with the river in the background. My favorite shots were when we played with my veil blowing in the wind and with my veil covering my husband and I as we kissed.” – Britney
About the Couple
“We met in what we called “a hopeless place” hence our wedding song, a cover version by Sam Tsui of the song We Found Love. We met in Fort Myers, Florida, where the population is mostly elderly. We met at a Resturant called Blu Sushi over some red bull vodkas. We went on our very first date the following day and the rest was history!” – Britney
“Joey proposed to me on Christmas Day of 2014 on the beach in Naples, FL. As we walked on the beach on Christmas day Joey was picking up shells on the beach during our stroll and one of the sea shells he picked up (a conch shell) had the ring inside of it! It was a complete surprise and one of the best days of my life!” – Britney
