Matt and Emily enjoyed a two-part engagement session; a vintage engagement beautifully captured by Lizard Nickel Photography. Emily wore her grandmother’s dress and shoes, and had her hair and makeup styled to work with the vintage vibe of the shoot.
The first portion of the engagement session was shot inside Moody Mansion. Emily has always adored this lovely historic home that sits right in the middle of Galveston, Texas, so having her engagement session here was very sentimental. After some unexpected rain cleared up, they headed to Pleasure Pier—a carnival built over the Gulf of Mexico just down the road from the Mansion. For this portion, Emily wanted to have a very strong vintage vibe, almost akin to scenes from “The Notebook.”
Emily and Matt surely nailed this Old Hollywood movie stars look as they strutted, cuddled and danced in the middle of the carnival crowds. It doesn’t get more romantic than that!
I hope you enjoy this delightful two-part Mansion & Carnival Engagement Session set in Galveston, TX!
