Shile and Kunle’s Heavenly Romance by Tunji Sarumi Photography

I have been stalling on the beauty for too long already! I am hopeful for a great week so I figured finally putting up this feature would be somewhat significant for me, and you of course!

Shile & Kunle did something(s) a little different with their wedding; there was no reception but instead was a Pre-wedding party and Engagement party all leading up to the actual wedding ceremony. If you have been following up with this blog you would know I very much embrace “doing you” when it comes to a lot of things especially weddings. Another “doing you” the couple embraced was having the bridesmaids in white, a small and uneven wedding party with a lot of children…I actually mean A LOT; one little bride, two bible bearers, six flower girls. Here are the photos of the Wedding ceremony covered by Tunji Sarumi.

The Planning Journey: The wedding planning process was absolutely fun. We were blessed to be able to have the kind of wedding we wanted and that really made us enjoy every bit of it. We had a whole year to plan and since I am a wedding planner it was really fun and not stressful at all!- Shile
Advice to upcoming Brides: Enjoy the process of being engaged. Don’t spend your time only talking about the wedding. Have a wedding you want and not what everyone else wants for you. Remember it is only one day, when things get a little crazy just remind yourself “it is only one day.” Most importantly hire a wedding planner.

Did they really jump into the pool with their wedding outfits on??? Loveee it! The one thing I love the most is the groom’s suit, I love brown and it turned out really nice!

This was definitely one of the best weddings I’ve attended! 3-day celebration! LOVED IT!

Sidenote: I think the bridesmaids dresses were actually beige/cream….a lighter version of the flower girl dresses. lol. If I remember correctly.
