Weekend going fine? Let’s make it better with this post. Today is our very first City Hall Wedding and can I just say that San Francisco’s City Hall is pretty amazing? Look at the gorgeous architecture that adds more prettyness to this event as Erin and Earls say their “I Do’s” Oh let’s not forget to make some noise about the fact that Cyndi Hardy’s work is appearing on here for the second time (see her first here) and we could not be any happier!
According to Cyndi:
Erin and Earl met in a Taqueria in Mission District one night. Erin was there with a few friends and while waiting for the restroom, she saw Earl and said hi. That was all it took. 🙂 They started dating shortly after that. Earl had been married before and it was the huge, glamorous type of wedding so he really didn’t want to do that again and Erin was never really big into having a huge wedding. So their family flew in from the San Diego area and Arizona on Thursday. Friday morning, they got ready at the Westin St. Francis in Union Square and then took a cab over to City Hall that afternoon. They had me go with them to meet with the Officiant and I signed their marriage license as their witness. We then went back out into the main part of City Hall and met with their family. They were originally told that they could only have 6 people up close, but their officiant said that the entire family could gather around close. There were a few tears during the ceremony, mostly from Erin and her mom. After the ceremony we went to a different area of City Hall and took family photos. Erin is Jewish, so her mom brought the traditional glass for them break. Once that was done, we walked around the gorgeous San Francisco City Hall and took pictures of just the two of them.
