Victoria and Erik met 3 years ago and today we have their casual romantic Point Defiance park engagement session by Rebecca Anne Photography to swoon over. There is something about a casual photo shoot that easily gets me excited. They don’t look posed, they almost look like everyday photos of 2 lovers, and what’s not to love about that? The couple chose the Point Defiance for their engagement session, a location that has meaning to them as it was the place where they first hung out together.
“I took her on a date to Bainbridge island that “she planned.” I picked her up in Seattle, we crossed the ferry and began our morning on the island. We started out by getting breakfast/lunch at a crepery right there off the ferry. We then went into the Harbor near by but realizing it was not the most glamorous of locations I “suggested” we find a nicer beach to hang out at.
So I found the Bainbridge state park about half an hour north of where we were and we began to walk down the beach. I convinced her to walk further because I didn’t want to “lay out in the sun” around people. So we found a less busy section down the beach and after talking for awhile, she wanted to put sunscreen on, so I reached down in my bag, searched for the “sunscreen” and turned around with a ring on my knee and asked her to marry me. She said yes!” – Erik
