Pantone Marsala Wedding Inspiration – Color of the Year 2015

So as many of you wedding lovers may have heard, the wedding color of the year has been revealed and if you are like me, it may take a while to sink in…but it finally would. Marsala is the color of the year 2015 and to be honest, I think it’s different. Coming from a year with the color being vibrant and bold (Radiant orchid), to a color all about warmth is quite a change. But they say change is good right?

Like I told KV’s Instagram family, the name marsala does remind me of food and for that I’d take it ūüôā However on a more serious note, this color seems to give a beautiful and stylish twist to a fall wedding and for that also, I’d take it!

“Marsala enriches our mind, body and soul, exuding confidence and stability. Marsala is a subtly seductive shade, one that draws us in¬†to its embracing warmth.” –¬†Leatrice EisemanExecutive Director, Pantone Color Institute

Here is a quick board I made for this color, a mix of reds and browns with that grey seemed like the perfect board to introduce Marsala to you all.

Question of the Post: So what do you think of Marsala being the color of the Year?
