Happy #WeddingWednesday faithful KV readers! It is with much fun and colorful glee I present to you this Outdoor Barn wedding inspiration styled shoot with real lovers as the models! Just like me, the photographer of this shoot, Michelle of Magnolia Adam’s Photography and designer Jenny (Jenny Joy Events) have a thing or two for styled shoots. Sure they are staged and full of props (KV certified!!) but they also help in great visualization of how things come together for those looking for some inspiration. But when you use a real couple to help that visualization, then 3 of us can agree that something over-the-top-stinking-cute-and-adorable happens, like this shoot!
For this shoot, Jenny and Michelle chose a couple that really are in love and wanted that to be central rather than the details. Sweet Katey and Andrew were married less than a year ago and while they loved their wedding images, jumped at the chance to get dressed up again. “I was blown away by their love for each other and how that came across my camera. It’s not a love that is coachable, rather one that is natural.” – Michelle of Magnolia Adam’s Photography.
This lovely whimsical and colorful shoot has been put together by an exceptional team of new vendors we are grateful for; the McGranahan Barn, which isn’t even opened for business yet, videographer Denny Vanderburg from Vanderburg creative and Lindsey from The LL Studio provided beautiful paper goods as well. The McGranahan barn has a unique and beautiful story as well, as their great great great granddaughter is over-seeing the rebuild process to transform it into an up and coming wedding venue for Oklahoma City.
Hope you enjoyed this styled Love shoot like I did!
