When: April 16, 2016 | Where: Arlington Heights, Illinois | Theme:Movies, Movie Theatre
Take a sweetheart couple, add buttery popcorn, a wedding date announcement on the marquee of the movie theater where they had their first date and you’re bound to capture a movie worthy love story. Joey and Lisa clearly had way too much fun with their Movie Theatre themed engagement session captured by Ashley Hamm Photography. Due to their love for movies, their theme was an easy pick.
Movie Theatre Themed Engagement Session
Proposal Story
“We met in 2012 at New Connections Academy, a therapeutic day school for students with Autism. We quickly became friends and found ourselves spending more and more time together. On November 25, 2015, we went to dinner to Lisa’s favorite place Palm Court. She put on a dress and I suited up. We love going here because it is the same place her grandparents use to go on dates many, many years ago. After dinner I suggested we grab a drink downtown Arlington Heights. As we walked passed the fountain, a special place where we would have picnics, I dropped to a knee and asked her to marry me. After some tears and a kiss she put the ring on and she said, “YES.” – Joey
