In a very intimate wedding ceremony (just family) and 120 guests for the reception, Jen and Casey tied the knot and celebrated their love with a mint and greenery wedding.
The couple envisioned elegant decor with lots of greenery with pops of ivory, light pink and peach which fit perfectly with the venue – Glendenning Golf Club. Casey grew up in a fishing community and being from Newfoundland it was important to the couple to have photographs by the ocean. Quidi Vidi fishing village near downtown St. John’s, NL was the perfect location for the portraits.

Jen and Casey originally met 10 years ago through mutual friends at a New Years Eve party. They reconnected on Tinder 9 years later. For the proposal, Casey asked Jen to marry her on Thanksgiving weekend 2017 in the kitchen of their home.
Wedding Attire
Jen got her Lis Simon gown from The Ivory Suite. She chose a flowy skirt as she wanted to be comfortable throughout the day. It was important to Casey to have seal skin bowties that were made by a family friend. Although controversial, seal skin is a large part of Newfoundland culture.
Wedding Favors – Edible
“We had custom chocolates from the Newfoundland Chocolate Company.”
Family Heirlooms or Special Traditions
Jen had the garter from her grandmother’s wedding in 1947 in her purse. Her mother surprised her with it prior to the wedding and it was her something old.

Love the decor! The photos are beautiful!
It’s very rare to get a nice mint green colour theme to work well in a wedding. Thank you for sharing! It is a wonderful inspiration to see this. Thank you!!
