Happy new week readers, here’s another themed wedding we’ve been so eager to share with you all; Ryan and Stephanie’s “Love and Hearts” Outdoor Wedding by Joanna Moss Photography. It was a wedding full of great cheer, laughter and love splattered all over.
About the “Love and Hearts” Outdoor Wedding
Where: Bristish Columbia, Canada | When: August 1st, 2015 | Theme: Love, Hearts, Outdoor | Colors: Navy Blue and Baby Pink
Choosing a theme called “Love & Hearts” was clearly the first thing that caught our attention when Joanna Moss photography sent these photos our way. With the gorgeous photos along with one of our favorite color combinations, we knew KV would readers would love this one as much as we do!
Ryan and Stephanie started off with their “first look” at the Sheraton Wall Center where they have spent lots of time over the years meeting with friends when Stephanie lived downtown.
Their table numbers all had facts about the couple, matching the number of the table. The wedding favors were heart sugar cookies with “happily ever after” & “another man down” written on them. This “heart cookies” idea came from a favorite memory of Stephanie when her and her mom traveled to Germany – one of her favorite memories was going to the fairs and seeing stands full of hundred of cookies hanging with different sayings written on them in icing.
To wrap up the very fun day, Stephanie and her girlfriends who llove to dance, surprised their guests with a choreographed dance number to Uptown Funk.
“My favorite moment of the shoot was with the whole bridal party down on the waterfront in Athletes Village. Ryan & I were with our very favorite people, it was a beautiful day and we were about to jump in the limo to make our way up to Queen E Park for the ceremony.” – Stephanie.
About the Couple
“We met through friends~bit longwinded…A high school girlfriend, Jo, was in town for a couple days from Oz & I met her for a quick dinner downtown. She was with a friend of hers, Nikki. Nikki & I then became friends & I met her a couple weeks later for drink. She was with a friend of hers, Missy. Missy went home that night & phoned her friend Ryan, & told him that she’d met the girl for him. Ryan & I met at Nikki’s bday party a couple weeks later.
Ryan proposed in bed on January 1st, 2015″ – Stephanie
