Jewel Tone Fall Wedding | Erin Lee Allender Photography

What’s better than a fall wedding? Only a jewel tone fall wedding! Kelly and Neil tied the knot at Ruby which is actually an old Baptist church that was later converted into a venue with amazing features.

With a boutique venue, Kelly and Neil got to chose what details they wanted, from the furniture, to the decor, even to the color of the lights. Kelly and Neil ended up having a cocktail-styled wedding and went for a more “big party” feel than formal wedding feel- after all, nothing is better than good food, good drinks, and great people! While they went for a more casual vibe, Kelly and Neil kept it more sophisticated with the color choices- merlot red, gold, navy blue, and forest green.

Wedding Attire

Kelly wanted a dress that was comfortable that had a modern twist on a classic dress. She ended up wearing an all lace Mikaella gown that had a V-neck front and back. Kelly had 9 bridesmaids that wore garnet floor-length dresses, while the groom and 9 groomsmen wore sharkskin blue-colored suits with garnet ties that had tiny white polka dots.

Wedding Flowers

Kelly’s bouquet was filled with pops of red, white, greenery, and blue thistles. The bridesmaids bouquets were similar, but smaller and with more pops of white. The groom’s boutonniere consisted of a white flower and greenery, while the groomsmen’s boutonnieres were made with greenery.

Wedding Planning Advice

“Keep it fun! Wedding planning can be super stressful, but don’t let it get the best of you. Always having a glass (or bottle) of wine handy can’t hurt! Also, we had a day to relax between our rehearsal dinner and wedding night – highly recommended to take that break!”
