Grey Wedding Ideas: 3 Perfect Colors to combine with Grey

Randomly I have been seeing a lot of grey lately and thinking of Grey wedding Ideas. So I quickly thought of a color inspiration board to work on and share but I had a problem; I couldn’t decide on one color to use for the board. Really the “problem” was the fact that quite a number of other colors look absolutely stunning with grey and I couldn’t just pick one.

You see, this my “problem” could not just stay as a problem by me not creating a board at all, so I figured a way to have grey on this blog, on a board with all the right colors – instead of one board, why not multiple boards showing how well the color Grey does? Eureka!

These are my top colors to combine Grey with; Yellow, Pink and Orange. Give me a wedding with Grey and any of these colors and I’d show you a bride or wedding planner after my own heart ūüôā

Grey and Yellow Wedding

The Grey Bridesmaid with Yellow shoes had me at hello! What a neat way to combine 2 colors for the wedding: The Dress and Shoes.

Grey and Pink Wedding

Isn’t that reception table magnificent? That was one photo I insisted on using no matter how long it was going to take me to find other photos that would coordinate properly with it.

The Orange bouquet with grey bridesmaids was one of the first photos to inspire this whole post. Lately it has been getting pinned from a wedding Knotsvilla covered a while ago and I figured re-using it for another post was a good idea. Here is the initial post it came from; Orange and Grey Wedding by Portrait by Shanti.

Great Article! I love the colors used in this set of images. As a wedding photographer, our goal has always been to reduce the amount of colors and complexity to the images, this is what seperate great photographers to novice. The ability to create images with just enough colors, light and the subject.
