When they started planning their wedding, Golnaz and Moe wanted to create a glamorous event where their friends and family would have a good time. Their Glamorous San Diego Wedding was exactly what the couple envisioned.
Glamorous San Diego Wedding
They added personal touches throughout to make their wedding a more personal celebration. The tables were each decorated with beautiful green garlands and an abundance of candles that set the perfect tone. Welcome bags were also placed in each hotel room full of their favorite things from San Diego.
“Mohammad proposed to me in Big Sur. We were visiting for our first time and super excited about the beauty it has to offer. We started the day with a long 8 mile hike that was an accident because I thought it was only 3 miles.
We ran out of water and it was surprisingly hot in Big Sur that day. Mohammad ended up getting a migraine but he ended up taking some ibuprofen and powering through. My fingers swelled up due to the elevation and I found out later he was worried about how he was going to the get the ring on when he proposed.
When we finally made it to our cozy cabin he asked me to get ready for a nice dinner. While driving to dinner he pointed to Pfeiffer beach which had purple sand that I had been wanting to see and suggested we take a look here at sunset before going to the restaurant. I quickly agreed since purple sand beaches sound magical.
We walked around the beach and all of a sudden I heard this guitarist start singing and playing the song Lucky by Colbie Cailait. There was also a photographer there and when I looked at him he was on his knee (in the sand wearing a suit) with a beautiful ring in a sea shell. The sun was setting behind us. The guitarist had a lovely voice, and we did a photoshoot on the purple sand beaches of Big Sur. We ended the night with a five course dinner at the famous Sierra Mar overlooking the water and gazing at the stars.”
” He wore a Hugo Boss tuxedo and I wore a Stephen Yearick dress. We wanted our style to be classic and glamorous. The dress had beading from head to toe and had a subdued shine to it. It was also surprisingly heavy, but that didn’t stop me from dancing through the entire night.”
