About the Festive Texas Outdoor Wedding
When: September 26, 2015 | Where: Kyle, Texas | Theme: Festive, Pops of Color | Colors: Gold, Yellow, Orange, Pink
Everything about this wedding was lighthearted and fun; from the invitation RSVP card that read “You IN?” to the gorgeous florals with bright colors which were brought to life fully when put next to the all white background look of the wedding – I mean, see how beautiful the outdoor ceremony looked?!
The sun peeked through the shady live oak branches as Jen and Dan exchanged vow and rings under the little white gazebo. As the sun went down, the sky showed off Texas-style with one amazing sunset for their photos. The bar featured a special New York City treat, the PICKLEBACK, where a shot of whiskey is chased by a shot of pickle juice… whoa! Once the delicious dinner was complete, Beatle’s cover band HARD NIGHT’S DAY kicked off an awesome dance party for all generations.
About the Couple
Jen and Dan met in Feb 2010 at a mutual friends late night house party in Venice Beach while Jen was in town for work. Luckily, Jen’s work as a film editor kept her in LA a good deal of time enabling their relationship to grow. Dan soon moved to NYC and joined her in NYC’s East Village. Four and half years later, Dan proposed near the Santa Monica Pier on a morning jog with their daughter Eleanor (not far from where they first met).
Wedding Planning Advice
“If they had to give one piece of advice it would be to build in as much time to hang out with your friends before your wedding day as possible. Make it your wedding week! The rehearsal dinner and wedding go by so fast and there isn’t much time to “catch up with old friends”.
