Fairytale Garden Engagement | Jessilynn Wong Photography

When: September, 2016 | Where: Toronto, Ontario | Theme: Fairytale, Outdoor

When we think of the word “fairytale” few other words come to mind such as princess, tiaras and sparkles; all of which are expressed in Fruzsina and Ali’s fairytale garden engagement session captured by Jessilynn Wong Photography. The couple would be tying the knot on a beach with a tropical theme which they carried through to the engagement shoot by including exotic foliage and blooms for the bouquet.

This engagement session was a labor of love, many talented professionals lent their skills to making this shoot special. Shot at Guildwood park, Fruzsina wore a beautiful tulle skirt by Pastel Dress Party complimented by a tropical bouquet from Leaf and Bloom.

About the Couple

Fruzsina and Ali met while being placed in the same team during the rotational program of a bank in the UK. Fruzsina was taken in by Ali’s witty emails and his pursuit of her despite her plans to move to Canada. Soon after he told her he was coming with her! They were together for exactly 3 years and 3 months before Ali got down on on knee at Bangkok Gardens on the night of the Cavalcade of Lights, last November.

Engagement Session Advice

“Definitely leave enough time for your engagement shoot – about 2 hours is a good amount of time – ours was scheduled after work and we were fighting against traffic and the clock before the sun set. Which was a bit stressful to have at the back of our minds when we were trying to channel romantic thoughts but thankfully our photographer was very skilled in relaxing us!

Secondly, be prepared for your make-up to look heavier than you’re used to, there’s a fine line between looking camera-ready and being unrecognizable to your loved one who’ll be looking at you very closely throughout the shoot!” – Fruzsina
