When: September 12, 2015 | Where: Orange, California | Theme: Vintage Elegance | Colors: Neutral, Wine, Burgundy
Today’s elegant vintage wedding is utter perfection with pretty much every detail; from the bridal shoes down to the reception decor! Chris and Meghan tied the knot at the French Estate in Orange, California in September with colors that were just right for the season.
About the Elegant Vintage Wedding
It was very important to the couple to make their wedding as personal as they could, with only their family and close friends, a total of 56 people gathered to watch them become husband and wife. The wedding was full of personal moments as the couple opted to include their families as much as they could; both moms both did a reading of their choice during the ceremony.
Their love for old town Orange was so evident especially with the inclusion of the local Popsicle shop which brought in a Popsicle cart for the cocktail hour that had flavors Chris and Meghan chose, along with some booze infused pops.
About the choice of transportation, Meghan writes: “I absolutely loved the idea of getting a convertible classic car so my veil could fly in the wind, so we rented a convertible mustang which my Poppop chauffeured the newlyweds and photographer in around old town Orange for pictures after the wedding.”
About the Couple
“Chris and I met and had been together for 8 years before he proposed. Chris proposed to me on our second trip to New York, on the Brooklyn Bridge which I always thought was one of the most romantic places, he even hired a photographer to catch the moment!”
Wedding Planning Advice
“Our advice for a couple planning a wedding would be start planning as soon as you can and also, as hard as it can be at times, try to enjoy every moment!”
