DIY Backyard Wedding by Open Aperture Photography

Daniel and Kendall had a wonderful low budget, backyard wedding with primarily immediate family and close friends. Both Daniel and Kendall are nurses from Williamston, NC, a small town outside Greenville, NC.

Their ceremony took place at Kendall’s parents’ neighbor’s house overlooking the neighborhood pond. All ceremony decor was put together by family and friends. Kendall’s parents surprised her with a horse and carriage to take her down the street to the ceremony. A very cute addition was incorporating their three year old daughter, Alyssa. She had her own dress and walked down the aisle with Kendall, got her own ring during the ring exchange and looked mighty cute doing all of these!

The reception was held at Moratoc Park overlooking the Roanoke River. Once again, family and friends did all of the decorating. They framed several of Kendall’s bridal portraits and displayed them on the hearth and fireplace. Enjoy this laid back, colorful DIY Backyard Wedding by Open Aperture Photography.
