When: September 24th 2016 | Where: Virginia | Theme: Country, Rustic, Backyard | Colors: Brown, Gold, Red

Courtney and Robbie tied the knot in a lovely Country Chic Fall wedding at New River’s Edge last fall. With lovely colors and photography style, the photos exude a relaxed and fun filled day as the two exchanged their vows.

Details about the Country Chic Wedding

“We used a lot of antlers for details as he loves whitetail deer hunting but I refused to have any camouflage lol. I’m a registered nurse, so I used my grandmothers nursing pin as my something old. One of the main reasons we picked our venue is so we could bring our dog, he’s a sweet chocolate lab/bloodhound mix and I’m so glad he got to be there! I love our pictures we got with him.

Also our photographers amazing eye for detail in our portrait shots that weren’t noticed by anyone but her. I also loved our groomsman posing with the girls bouquets and the girls posing with beers. Our bridal parties are such fun people and those pictures really showed it!” – Courtney

About the Couple

“We dated for almost seven years before we got engaged. High school sweethearts you could say even though we went to different schools. He had a pig roast on the Fourth of July and proposed in front of both of our families, and of course he had asked my dad in private a few weeks before. I was completely surprised.” – Courtney

Wedding Planning Advice

“Don’t put too much on yourselves, vendors are wonderful and can make your day so much easier and let your family help as much as possible!”

Love the sense of humor (awesome cake topper), the bridesmaids dresses (wow, love the style – never seen that before). Such pretty wedding photos!
