Chocolate Brown never looked this good! We cant stop loving the details from this chocolate themed wedding styled shoot, planned and photographed by Green Valley Photography. It’s the perfect blend of shades of brown, cream and touches of gold. According to Andrea Horne, the creative director of Green Valley Photography, the shoot was to center around creamy milk and white chocolate with caramel.
“The historic home venue provided a classic backdrop with its wrap-around porch and beautifully manicured grounds. For linens, the dining table had a caramel colored table cloth, with white chocolate square plates, and chocolate brown pintuck napkins. The cake table had the same brown pintuck for a tablecloth and the dessert table had a caramel sequin tablecloth.
For florals, rich browns were incorporated by using monkey tails, pine cones, and hot chocolate calla lilies. Fern shoots, lotus pods, olive branch leaves, and scabiosa pods were used for the greenery and embellishments.
The baker made a 4-tier round cake that was a combination of masculine and feminine with alternating chocolate brown layers dusted in cocoa powder to look like suede and white chocolate layers with gold damask flowers. On the dessert table was a variety of chocolate bark, coco-dusted meringues, and Baileys and Kahlua shots for guests.
The custom couture two-piece dress was finished with a chocolate brown sash fitted with a leaf-shaped broach. Bronze peep toe heels and bronze and gold makeup finished the bride’s look. Finally, the invitations had a bold monogram in chocolate brown with a matching envelope.” – Green Valley Photography
