Casual Vintage Engagement by Kanella Brown Photography

When: July 02, 2016 | Where: Hampton, Georgia | Theme: Casual, Vintage, Summer

We are kicking back and relaxing a bit on this Tuesday with Emily and Christian’s casual vintage engagement session. The two decided on having their engagement pictures taken at the same location they will be getting married at; McCrite’s Cottonwood Estate. Their enagement session creatively makes use of lovely vintage props (you know KV readers live for the props!) while the two are laid back in each other’s arms. Everything about Emily and Christian’s session makes us think of that romantic but super laid back time in the park we all have once (or more) in our lives, where nothing else matter but smiles and kisses!

About the Couple

Christian and Emily met a few years ago at a bible conference through mutual friends. After first meeting each other, their paths did not cross again for a while, then one day it did!! They found each other again at a mutual friend’s birthday party and that lead to a spark of wanting to know each other more.

Emily says “It took some time but then it dawned on her that Christian was the one and it felt like it was meant to be because their relationship felt so natural. In Emily’s words ” The quality I admire the most about him is his loyalty and dedication to God , to me, and to his job. He’s all around an amazing man. When I think about my wedding day, my heart beats faster. I’m not nervous at all I’m so incredibly excited that I get to be his wife. I cannot wait!!!”

Wedding Planning Advice

“My advice to couples planning a wedding would be communicate. Also don’t get so focused on all the details that you lose sight of what’s really important; Each other” – Emily
