Green and Red and all the boldness that comes with this color combination is what you’d experience with Jacklyn and Shree’s Canadian Indian fusion wedding, and we love it!
Their day begun with their intimate first look, then the traditional Indian wedding ceremony and finally the reception. The reception venue was beautifully decorated with the sweet heart table at the center. The color palette was red, green and white matching the traditional outfits and the special engagement ring.
The pair chose to include Indian traditions but also have a modern and romantic/organic feel to the wedding decor. The wedding vision was classic and romantic with a modern feel combined with a hint of Indian traditions.
“For the ceremony we went with Indian outfits . The groom had a traditional Indian outfit and I wore a Bollywood style Indian gown. For the reception we wore western outfits – I wore a white wedding dress and the groom wore a three piece suit. “
What was the most important to the two of you while planning? Was there anything that you chose to splurge on or skip?
“For us we chose to skip the cake. Our catering package came with many sweets and desserts and for us spending a lot on a cake for the sake of photos wasn’t important. We did splurge on entertainment by having live musicians come and perform for the ceremony, cocktail hour and dancing part of the reception. “
