Bridesmaids in Two Pieces; Tops, Skirts and Shorts

It’s no news that Brides have started having their ladies step out of the norm; the shorter dresses, the mis-matched ones (in styles or colors) and even the two pieces. You can’t even blame them; after a while the “norm” get’s boring and off we go searching for something new and different.

The “two pieces” idea is not entirely new, however when put together perfectly it can bring some freshness to your eyes and wedding vision. Another great thing about 2 pieces, is the idea of them being able to be worn again as compared to a 1 piece. Many times Bridesmaids are stuck with dresses that can’t be repeated either because tweaking is not enough to give a different look or they don’t even have many  of such occasions to wear formal looks. So having a 2 piece for your bridesmaids definitely gives them more flexibility.

There are so many ways to style your 2 pieces and I would get to that in another post. But for now be inspired by these beautiful images of Bridesmaids in two pieces.

Would you put your bridesmaids in skirts or shorts? Remember when making this kind of decisions, body types matter so decide wisely. In the meantime, what’s your favorite look? I am totally digging look #1; clearly that’s the reason I began this post with it 🙂

I am looking for two piece bridesmaid outfit for my future wedding. I’ve looked just about everywhere, but to no avail. I need help. I’m wearing an off-white wedding dress with a bolero. My dress is long, but I prefer my bridesmaids to wear knee-length skirts with a pretty top.
