For a fun and laid back picnic on a Sarasota beach, Mukti and Yogesh brought their fun-loving vibes (and adorable puppy!) and enjoyed their lovely boho beach picnic engagement session.
Boho Beach Picnic Engagement Session
When: Apr 30, 2016 | Where: Tampa, FL | Theme: Beach, Picnic, Bohemian |
“The photo soot itself was extremely fun and that was the most important thing about the whole shoot. Never once did we feel like anything was planned or staged. The entire time, we felt very comfortable and felt like we were in our own shoes.
The shoot at the Ringling Mansion was pretty straightforward, however, when we got to the beach, it was a little more exciting. In order to get to our beach location, we had to trek through knee deep water and mangroves as the photoshoot was on a secluded island off the main island. We had to carry all the props and camera equipment.”
“It was October 2015 and Yogesh was in his last year of medical school. Since we were living in two different states, he was doing a visiting rotation at a hospital in Indianapolis so that we could spend time together.
It was the end of his rotation and he had told me that the department he was working with was hosting a Fall Formal and that he had been invited with a plus one! He also told me a few days earlier that since it was his last weekend in Indianapolis, he wanted to make it special night. He said he had a surprise for me before the “Formal.”
On the day of, we went into Downtown Indianapolis where he surprised me with a private rose-decorated Gondola river ride prior to the “Formal.” It was a beautiful evening and the Gondola ride was extremely romantic. Towards the middle of the ride, the Gondola driver went under a low bridge. He then slowly turned the boat around and then that’s when Yogesh pulled out roses and got down on one knee!!
I was in utter shock and then I noticed some movement on the bridge and when I looked up, both of our families were holding individually cut-out large silver letters that posed the question, “Will You Marry Me?” And well you know the story from there on out.”
“My ring is a Tacori designed ring with a circular diamond sitting on a square cushion halo of more diamonds. The diamond is elevated by an intricate cage with spiral designs. The diamond is very vibrant in color and when light hits it, it looks like a bustling flame!
Yogesh designed the ring himself because he wanted to make it special for me. He made sure that it had all the appropriate dimensions so that it would glisten beautifully. My band is a custom fitted band as and simple yet elegant, so that it complements the engagement ring perfectly without taking away too much attention.”
