Blue Mustard Wedding Inspiration

Hey hey! Here’s another inspiration board for you today. This is strictly for those that are lovers of bold colors. This Blue Mustard Wedding Inspiration is by far one of the boldest color combinations I have seen and one should be very careful to mix them appropriately. But when done right, I have to confess, it can be bold and beautiful (no, not the soap opera).

I was first inspired by the couple dressed in Blue and Mustard. The groom pretty much made me gasp the moment I set my eyes on that photo. I mean, are you seeing how well fitted his suit is? With his grey vest, blue tie and mustard boutonniere to complement his bride’s sweater, I knew I had to have a board depicting how beautiful and perfect this combination could be.

Initially when shared on KV’s Instagram page, I had the bridesmaids above included in the board. They were also my second source of inspiration for this post. Mismatched bridesmaids dresses are one of my favorite wedding trends, but when done with colors, I think I fall in love all over again. We have seen the splitting of bridesmaids colors back in this Purple and Orange Wedding Inspiration so it’s obvious I am not getting tired of this trend anytime soon. Blue Mustard Wedding (1)

This is a really nice combination, since I shy away from going too bold, I actually love the idea of using mustard rather than a lighter shade of yellow.

Lately myself I have been shying away from getting too bold with the color combinations but something about Blue and Mustard made me give this combination a shot. I am glad I did though, I have been won over by these colors.

We have seen this combo at a few recent weddings, its a really lovely balance of colours. IT also works really well when the flowers are yellow.
